About Waxy Beast

At Waxy Beast, we believe candles should do more than just smell nice - they should make you smile. Our journey began after a slightly unexpected career plot twist (redundancy) led to a kitchen full of wax, wicks, and one slightly obsessed human (that’s me). What started as a creative outlet quickly spiralled into a full-blown candle-making love affair - and thus, Waxy Beast was born.

Every candle is hand-poured in small batches in Faversham, in the heart of Kent, blending craftsmanship with just the right dash of mischief. Each sweet treat-themed scent comes with its own cheeky twist because life’s too short for boring candles.

We currently only ship to the UK, but watch this space for future expansion!

What’s in a Waxy Beast Candle?

Our candles are made with a premium soy and coconut wax blend - completely vegan, cruelty-free, and cleaner burning than your average paraffin impostor, so they are good for the environment as well as good for you. Each one is topped with playful coloured wax cube embeds (because we like our candles with a bit of personality), which create a beautiful pool of colour as they burn.

Each candle has a net weight of 90g, is housed in a 100ml metal container with a 65mm diameter, and has an approximate total burn time of between 15 and 20 hours.

We use ECO-friendly cotton wicks that are free from lead and zinc, so they burn beautifully without nasty toxins.

  • Packaged with love for the planet – white metal tins with reusable lids, recyclable packaging, and no unnecessary plastics

  • Shipped plastic-free using recyclable and biodegradable packing materials
